” Annual General Meeting: a renewed Board of Directors<\/em> <\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/strong>Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Thursday, June 10, 2021 –<\/strong> On June 2, the Centre d’assistance et d’accompagnement aux plaintes (CAAP) Mont\u00e9r\u00e9gie held its 28th<\/sup> annual general meeting by videoconference, in compliance with public health regulations.<\/p>\n

Three (3) positions were to be filled on the Board of Directors. Mrs Ren\u00e9e Flibotte, Mrs Lyne Gagn\u00e9 and Mr Ny Aina Randriaamanga were elected by the members present. We are grateful to have them join our Board of Directors, and believe that their contribution will benefit the organization and enable them to take on new challenges,” said Myriam Noiseux, Executive Director of CAAP Mont\u00e9r\u00e9gie. <\/p>\n

With the presentation of the annual report, those present were able to see all the work accomplished by the team for the year 2020-2021. It’s been a year of great change, and we’re delighted to have been able to inform, assist and support almost 1,500 people. These services include information and assistance for tenants of private residences for the elderly (RPAs) concerning leases and their rights, which are now offered by CAAP Mont\u00e9r\u00e9gie. Financial statements were also presented.<\/p>\n

A brief overview of initiatives and projects for the current year was also unveiled. ” Our team is always available and ready to listen. Our free, confidential services are available to all Mont\u00e9r\u00e9gie residents. <\/em>“concluded Ms. Noiseux.<\/p>\n
