Roles and mandates of CAAP Montérégie
CAAP Montérégie is an independent regional community organization mandated by the Ministère de la Santé et des Services sociaux to :
- Inform users of their rights and how the complaints system works;
- Assist and support them if they wish to file a complaint with the Service Quality and Complaints Commissioner and/or the Québec Ombudsman;
- Supporting PSR tenants, their families and their families and loved ones in their efforts to resolve disputes and disagreements with their owner. This mandate is entrusted to CAAP Montérégie by Société d’habitation du Québec (SHQ).
